One day Remote Student Development Program on “Android app using Kotlin” was organized by Department of Computer Engineering and Department of Information Technology of Madhuben & Bhanubhai Patel Institute of Technology – CVM University, New Vallabh Vidyanagar, on 19th September 2020 in association with Spoken Tutorial, IIT Bombay. The objective of organizing this Student Development Program (SDP) was to acquire programming skills in Android and to learn how to design applications in Android using Kotlin.
An online inaugural function was held on 19th September,2020. In the beginning, Prof. Dr. Archana Nanoty, Principal, MBIT and SDP President address the participants and shared her views about the importance of such programs. She discussed about importance of latest technological development considering the present time of COVID-19 pandemic. After that Honorable Chairman of CVM and Chief Patron of this SDP Er. Shri Bhikhubhai Patel sir motivated us with his blessings and encouraging words.
Prof. Sunayana Domadia had introduced the participants with the schedule of student development program. Prof. Ankita Chauhan had conclude the inaugural function with vote of thanks to Honorable Chairman of CVM Er. Shri Bhikhubhai Patel sir, President of SDP Prof. Dr. Archana Nanoty, Principal, MBIT, Convenes of SDP Prof. Nirav Raja, I/C Head of Computer Engineering Department, and Prof. Hetal Chudasama, Head of Information Technology Department,MBIT and participants of Workshop.Prof. Pooja Bhatt had provided Technical support during this workshop.
More than 70 attendees were registered in SDP from various institutes like Dr.Ambedkar Institute of Technology-Chennai, Gulzar Group of Institute-Delhi, Shree Swaminarayan Institute of Technology-Gandhinagar, Gyanmajari Institute of Technology-Bhavanagar, Neotech Technical Campus-Vadodara, SVIT-VASAD, Sigma Institute Of Engineering-Vadodra.
