The Department of Information Technology, Madhuben & Bhanubhai Patel Institute of Technology (MBIT), CVM University, organized an insightful expert session on “A Kick Start on Git and GitHub” on 20 August 2026 from 09:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Lab B003-3, MBIT for students of the Department of Information Technology.

The session was conducted by Dr. Nikhil Gondaliya, Professor and Head, Department of Information Technology, GCET, CVM University, who provided valuable insights into Git and GitHub, version control, repository management, and collaborative software development.

The expert explained the importance of version control and demonstrated the use of Git and GitHub for repository management, tracking changes, and collaborative software development. The session provided students with practical exposure to industry-relevant development practices.
