The Women’s Day Celebration was organized on 11th March, 2025, at Madhuben & Bhanubhai Patel Institute of Technology (MBIT). The event was coordinated by Prof. Jigisha K Kachhia and convened by Dr. Darshana Prajapati. The event was organized by the Women Development Cell, in collaboration with the Women in Engineering (WIE) – the IEEE Student Branch at MBIT and NSS, aimed to honour the achievements of women and inspire students and faculty through insightful discussions on empowerment and health.

The program featured two esteemed speakers:

• Prof. Sulabha Natraj, Retired Principal, Way made College of Education, who delivered an inspiring talk on “Breaking the Glass Ceiling”. She  emphasized the importance of perseverance, education and resilience in overcoming gender barriers.
• Dr. Kairavi Pandya, Medical Officer, Emergency & Trauma Department, who shared valuable insights on “Women & Health”. Her session focused on women’s well-being, emphasizing the need for awareness and proactive healthcare practices.
